Food ingredients (Fi) Asia 2018, the largest gathering of food and beverage (F&B) ingredients professionals in ASEAN is now just weeks away. "Dedicated solely to food ingredients, Fi Asia 2018 returns to Jakarta, Indonesia, October 3-5. The event will bring together more than 750 leading domestic and international ingredient suppliers from 60 countries, and an expected 20,000+ visitors as the industry comes together," said Rungphech (Rose) Chitanuwat, Group Director - ASEAN, UBM Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd.

"UBM is always looking to the future industry, we aim to support undergraduate college students and vocation students and encourage them to become the next generation of food scientists. The competition is a national award, and requires teams to develop a new food product from indigenous ingredients. Importantly, it allows food industry representatives the opportunity to spot talented students for potential employment", explained Chitanuwat.
