UK Farming Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2003 with just 2 acres of land located in Parit Yaani, Johor Malaysia. Our Jamnapari goats were imported from Indonesia and our initial business involved the production of fresh goat's milk, goat's meat and commercializing toiletry products.
In 2006, we obtained the HACCP certification for goat's milk production and milk production instruments from Japan. Subsequently in 2007 we obtained 100 acres worth of land from Kluang Modern Agriculture Project, and ventured into sheep breeding and producing frozen sheep's meat which was managed by Superficient Marketing Sdn. Bhd. Now we have approximately 4000 sheep in total. Our sheep species include Domba Garut, Damara, Barbados, Santa Ines, Malin and Dorper.
As part of our expansion plans, we diversified our business in to leisure farm tours in the year of 2008, which was managed by UK Agrotourism Sdn. Bhd. and obtained the Halal certification. In the subsequence year, we delved into passion fruit plantation and focusing in conducting R&D to produce passion fruit juices, preserved, jam, concentrate and tarts. During this year Superficient Marketing Sdn. Bhd. changed its name to UK Farm Sdn. Bhd.
