With the original goal of reaching out the Muslim Travellers wanting to perform Umrah, POTO Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd has not only accomplished its goal being recognized as one of the leading Umrah & Ziarah based Travel Agency but also succesfully developed and marketed its Halal Tours. (Leisure) Independent and Group Departures to extic destinations around the world.
How we started: With such modesty of only 6 staff within a small office space in Taman Shamelin, Cheras. Today, with just slightly over 6 years in operations, POTO Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd stands proud with over 40 staff and 2 branch offices managing its business with a yearly turnover in excess of RM20 million and growing. Developing Tour Product which is 100% Halal, have earned and created a market niche of Muslim Travellers whom is always doubtful over the Halal Meals tailored during their holidays. This have created a reputation for POTO Travel & Tours with its repeated clients and reccomendations resulted in the status of an award winning Bumiputra travel agency in Malaysia with numerous awards from Gulf Air, Cathay Pacific, Vietnam Airlines and a number of magazines.
Where we are heading: Being one of the leading active leisure travel company in Malaysia with Group Departures spreading over 15 destinations globally and Independent Designed Packages to almost every part of the world, we have envisioned to see expansion. While maintaining is core business and values in the leisure travel, 2011 have seen the diversification within the Travel Business in the areas of Corporate & Government Ticketing, Incentives and soon E Commerce while preserving our core values through our strong believe in offering Personalized Services, Creativity, Innovativesness and the continuous Reinvention of our product.
