The device checks, before the gas burner starts, the tightness of the shut-off valves.
It must be used together with solenoid valves according to EN 161 and one or two pressure switches according to EN 1854.
This device can be used on industrial gas burner plants or heating ones, with or without purge lines to discharge to environment.
USE
EN 1643 states that the valves proving system is mandatory for power over 1200kW.
Deareation to the combustion chamber cannot be made if the released gas volume is higher than 0, 05% of the burner nominal capacity (e.g. for a maximum flow of 150 m3/h the permitted value is 0, 075m3).
In case the device is used to pre o post purge discharge gas to the combustion chamber may not be allowed.
Gas must be descharged to atmosphere and in a safe place.
