Daikon radish has been traditionally reputed in Japan as good for helping the digestion and for discharging cholesterol stored in the body. MUSO's Sengiri Daikon is made from daikon that is reaped naturally from winter to early spring.
In order to preserve the Daikon radish longer, it is sliced into small strips and dried out in the sun. It is one of the best quality daikon radishes produced. By drying with cold seasonal wind, sweetness and softness are created and its original flavor is maintained.
