Green Friend Fertilizer (GFF) was formed to produce organic fertilizer that is naturally fermented from chicken manure. Utilising the latest technologies from Japan, the chicken manure is mixed and ploughed for about 40 days before undergoing an organic enzyme process of fermentation.
The end product is a fully organic fertilizer that contains no chemical additives. It has a pH level of 7.9, with organic matter at 38 % and a N.P.K ratio of 2.2.2. They are most suitable to be used for the growth of vegetables, flowers and fruit farming

From a modest 15-acre layer farm in Serkam, Melaka with a daily output of 170,000 eggs to a modern day hi-tech automated production facility of approximately 900,000 eggs daily, the company has progressd tremendously within a relatively short span of seven years. This encapsulates the dynamic growth of Huat Lai Resources Berhad which is today's one of the leading producers of commercial table eggs and breeder of layer chicks.
Apart from being sold to wholesalers in Peninsular Malaysia, Huat Lai's total output is also exported to Singapore and occasionally to Hong Kong and Indonesia.
With its fully integrated facilities, technologically advanced and environmentally-friendly approach to its operations, Huat Lai is well-placed to meet the expectations of an increasingly sophisticated consumer market, both locally as well as overseas.
Incorporated in November 1994, the Huat Lai Group has to-date invested more than RM44.5 million in plant and machinery in its expansion and development program towards full automation. Since October 1997, Huat Lai has operated as a fully integrated unit complete with in-house feed mill factory employing revolutionary European technology.
