Pak Karim lost the affections of his children 10 years ago and now come to realised his mistakes and his guilt. Hakim disappeared after his fiancé Mira died in an accident, traumatised at not being accepted as a prospective daughter-in-law by Pak Karim. He rejected her because Mira comes from a poor family.

While Lokman moved away, not wishing to suffer living under the yoke of Pak Karim. Budin, though many efforts finally brought Lokman and Hakim back to reunite with their father.
