Daiya Industry has been a successful manufacturer of orthopaedics for half a century. The basis of the management philosophy is to offer medical products which address customer needs and wishes. All products are created hand in hand with physicians to confirm their efficiency and functionality. Clinical data, tests and product verifications are carried out in cooperation with the local University research centre to improve the quality level of each product. In addition, market research ensures that customer opinions are taken into account. The original products are developed from the customer’s point of view to create useful articles which are valued by the user.
All products are 100% handcrafted in Japan. All of Daiya Industry’s seamstresses are highly qualified and have proper working contracts which include good working conditions. Their experience and sewing skills essentially contribute to the high product quality.
But the Japanese working culture means more than just the sewing accurately. During work the seamstresses “become the customer” in order to address the smallest of details for utmost customer satisfaction.
